Terms of Service

What Polissh is

Polissh is software that helps salons run their day to day: bookings and a calendar, client records, staff diaries, appointment messages and deposit payments. It is operated by Phariot Pty Ltd in South Africa ("we", "us", "Polissh").

These terms are an agreement between us and the salon that signs up ("you"). If your salon has a team, you are responsible for how your staff use Polissh.

Salon accounts

You need an account to use Polissh. You give us accurate information when you register, and you keep your sign-in details safe.

You decide who on your team gets access, and what they can see. Anyone you invite acts on behalf of your salon.

Subscriptions and payment

Polissh starts with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, a subscription costs R199 a month, which includes your first staff member, plus R79 a month for each extra staff member.

Recurring subscription checkout is not yet connected, so billing is arranged with us directly until then.

Your client deposits are charged on your salon's own PayFast account. We never hold your clients' money; PayFast handles the payment and settles with you under your own PayFast terms.

Acceptable use

Use Polissh for running your salon and its bookings. Don't use it to send unwanted bulk messages, to contact clients who have asked not to be contacted, or for anything unlawful.

Don't try to access other salons' information, break the service, or resell Polissh without permission.

You must have permission for the client information you store in Polissh, and send appointment messages lawfully.

Availability and support

We work hard to keep Polissh available, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Message delivery also depends on providers like Twilio and PayFast.

For support, email hello@polissh.com.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Polissh is provided "as is". We are not liable for lost bookings, lost income, missed messages, payment disputes or other indirect losses that come from using the software.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law.

Your data when you stop using Polissh

If your subscription ends, we keep your salon's data intact for a reasonable time so you can restart or export it, and then delete it if you have not returned. This policy works together with our Privacy Policy.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms from time to time and will let you know about meaningful changes. Questions? Email hello@polissh.com.
